East exit at the station, turn left and an easy short walk past the bus station to Prince Smart. Convenience store across from the inn. Atami city's famed shotengai is across, right-turn short walk from the station. One of the most convenient located accommodation I have stayed at!! Electronic check-in and out was simple with the gentle guidance of the manager, "Arigatougozaimashita.." My room was clean, the bathroom was three parts - a separate Toto toilet, a dual-head shower with amenities and the bathroom sink table was part of the entrance. Which could be curtained off from the bedroom/living room. Headboard based light controls and phone charging ports always a plus. This is a modern, clean and conveniently located accommodation. A 20-30minute walk to Atami Sun Beach and 3-min bus ride return gives a unique understanding of how value for money this place is.

As the name, it is a “Smart” inn. There are no Manuel check in service by staff, you will have to go to the machines to register your information and scan your passport. Staff would assist you to operate there machine tho. I am driving there, the car park they use is vertical parking system. A staff would open the gate for you, once you parked in the designated space and walk out, they will close the gate and move your car upwards to leave spaces for other cars. It is quick a smart design for places with limited space. The room size is normal, with very new decoration. Location wise it is next to Atami Station. Staff is nice and helpful. They helped to operate the check in machine and check out. After check in, we also hurry to the Atami fireworks and the staff teach us how to go there very patiently.

The location was a 5-minute walk away from the train station if you don't use Google Maps (faster and safer if you cut across the bus station). We needed a room key card to use the elevators. We had 2 twin beds but it felt roomy. I loved the shower. Room came with a safe, refrigerator, complimentary continental breakfast, and complimentary amenities (scrub cloth, razor, toothbrush, comb). On the second floor were a vending machine, ice machine and laundry facility. The decor was chic and modern. Convenience store a few doors down. Tourist attractions nearby.

The simple free breakfast ( coffee and sandwiches) just fitted our need as we did not eat much in the morning. The hotel was a smart style hotel that guests did their check in/out process at the self-service kiosk that avoided the queue at the reception counter. Private carpark was available but watched out for the little entrance just next to the hotel. Spare some time to pick up the car at the carpark as it was a smart multi-level automated carpark which needed a staff to operate and call your car down.

Check in through machines was surprisingly fast and easy from the machines there. Staff were at hand to help. Loved the fast speed wifi which was accessible in both our rooms and hotel foyer. Also loved the generous work stations/ work space in the foyer with power points for charging laptops/iPads while we waited for our transport etc.
